The RMT is designed with the latest technology to provide you with an economical, high accuracy, test meter specifically intended for the municipal water industry. This specially engineered design combines a turbine meter, a microprocessor and a pressure gauge in a rigid plastic carrying case for long life in a field test environment.

The microprocessor based electronics have extremely low power requirements and data retention capabilities in both RAM and ROM. Information is clearly displayed on a large six digit LCD readout with a two point floating decimal for totals from 0.01 to 999,999. All access is performed easily with two buttons on the front face. Liquid flows through the turbine housing causing the rotor to spin. As the rotor spins an electronic signal is generated in the pickup coil. The pulse data is then translated from the turbine into calibrated flow units which are shown on the unit's LCD readout.
Power is provided by extra long life field replaceable lithium batteries, contained internally. Life expectancy is approximately 9000 duty hours under most conditions. An automatic "OFF" and "ON" feature conserves power. The unit turns itself on the moment it senses any flow, or by manually pressing the display button. The unit automatically switches to a power saving sleep mode after one minute of inactivity.
